From Marc:"I have been choosing Naim since 1983.The quality is second to none and the service Naim provides is unlike any other. What truly keeps me with the brand is how the kit sounds.I have always tried to get my system to be as quiet as possible.Along with the Naim power supplies which are very quiet themselves-I utilize a 10BQ Equitech Balanced power supply. This transformer removes all reactive loads and lowers the noise floor from the mains a bunch! In addition, I use JPS in wall AC wire. The JPS also lowers the noise floor and has made a big improvement. Bottom line is, I believe, the Equitech and the JPS are mandatory components to any system.
I also use floor jacks beneath the floor. These eliminate the vibration that is transmitted to the floor,thus reducing any sympathetic vibration.Lastly, I use Realtraps. This product eliminates the problems associated with wall reflections. This is another product that I could not live without.
Setup,setup,and more setup. Every wire,cable,and stand must be setup with the most care. The slightest change will change the sound.
The system is: 555/2*500/552/01/XPS2-T/DBL with custom made Xovers/ A5 on insulators/G-17/chips/CablePro revelation hardwired with JPS in wall AC wire straight line to the Equitech 10BQ transformer".
